What we practice

  • Handstands

    Handstands and other balances and inversions are a major focus of our training. From headstands and frog stands to freestanding handstands and eventually a variety of shapes, presses, and more, you can expect to always be learning and evolving.

  • Bodyweight Strength

    From getting your first pull-up to doing single-leg squats and freestanding handstand push-ups, we’ll develop strong foundations en route to more advanced skills.

  • Mobility

    In addition to strength, dynamic bodyweight mastery requires flexibility, control, and body awareness. The ability to bend, shake, wave, and flow is just as important to this practice as being able to lift your body.

  • Stillness

    I’ve been meditating daily for over a decade and do not teach this based on theoretical ideas. A practical, no frills approach to including stillness in a movement practice is vital to performance, recovery, awareness, and of course general well-being.

How to get started

Small group intensive training program:

  • Groups meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for 2 hours each

  • Groups are kept small to allow personalized programming for each student

  • Training studio is located just north of downtown Phoenix

  • Commit to one full month at a time (details below)

Current openings:

Evening group (5:45 - 7:45pm)

  • This group is capped at 5 students (currently: 4)

  • Cost: $500 / month

Afternoon group (3 - 5pm)

  • This group is capped at 3 students (currently: 2)

  • Cost: $800 / month
