Meet the teacher

Paul Williamson, MS, RYT, CPT

Aside from his academic background — Masters in Exercise Science, multiple training and yoga certifications, etc — Paul is truly a lover of all things movement and has been teaching an integrated approach to practice for 15 years.

His vision is to help people of all ages reconnect to their childlike love of play. It’s possible to deeply pursue physical development without sucking the joy out of it. Besides, he’s seen time and time again that people tend to play harder than they work anyway.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: Will this class be awkward for me if I’m introverted?

Not at all! Part of the vision for this class is sharing deep human interaction through MOVEMENT… i.e. no small talk! This is NOT a free-for-all or mixer, it is a structured class that happens to be intuitive and playful.

Q: Should I bring my own partner for the games?

That’s up to you, but you certainly don’t need to. I love when we end up with an odd # of students in class because that means I get to participate in the partner work myself! You can either come connect to new humans or bring one or more of your own favorite humans to deepen your connection with. It’s beautiful to see people connecting with their partner, having a blast with friends, or even bonding with their children.

Q: Do I need to be fit to join?

Nope! This class is fun, accessible, and challenging to ALL levels of physical ability. It’s one of the few environments where a sedentary person can practice along side an elite athlete and not feel self conscious.

“I really regret moving my body and having so much fun in that class.”
